A God Sent
Man, I am so blessed. After 4 years of a brutal parole I have finally found something that will actually help me find permanent housing. This Home First program I am involved in is exactly what "290's" need in this state. I have gotten my ID after years of not having it and have gotten a Social Security card. Been staying here at Little Orchard Homeless Shelter ( It's called Home First now ) for 2 weeks now. It is so much better than the streets is where I was before this. Home First is also giving me a 3 month bus pass for free. I only have 10 more weeks of parole, but better late than never. Take care my friends. More later.

Programs for the Chronically Homeless in San Jose
Programs for the Chronically Homeless
There are more than 2,500 chronically homeless individuals in the County, representing 33% of the general homeless population. A chronically homeless individual is someone who has experienced homelessness for a year or longer, or who has experienced at least four episodes of homelessness in the past three years and has a disability. They tend to have high rates of behavioral health problems, including severe mental illness and substance abuse disorders, conditions that may be exacerbated by physical illness, injury, or trauma. Consequently, they are frequent users of emergency services, crisis response, and public safety systems.
HomeFirst is considered the leading provider of services to the chronically homeless in Santa Clara County and has one of the highest rates of success in finding permanent housing for them.

Open Letter to Louisiana's Sheriffs Regarding Halloween
10.30.2014: Open Letter to Louisiana’s Sheriffs Regarding Halloween
NEW ORLEANS — The ACLU of Louisiana delivered an open letter today to all of Louisiana’s parish sheriffs, concerning regulation of the Halloween holiday. The letter reads as follows:
Dear Sheriff:It has come to our attention that several parishes and municipalities in Louisiana have adopted rules concerning the scheduling of “trick or treat” hours for Halloween and are posting unlawful signs at the homes of some community residents. While protecting children at Halloween and any other time is a legitimate purpose, these initiatives do nothing to enhance public safety, while violating fundamental rights guaranteed to all. This letter is to advise you that regulations of this sort violate the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States and Article I, Sections 7 and 9 of the Louisiana Constitution, which provide for rights of free speech and assembly. No governmental body may prohibit anyone from ringing someone else's doorbell at any time for any legitimate purpose, nor may the government prohibit anyone from giving “treats” to visitors at any time. Simply put, the residents of Louisiana have the Constitutional right to ring doorbells on any date and time they choose asking for treats, and all have the right to receive visitors and give them treats at any time. Some communities may have adopted penalties for trick or treating outside the designated hours, and many simply state what those hours will be. Certainly it is a violation of the First Amendment rights of all to impose penalties of any kind for visiting homes outside of designated hours. Even without set penalties, the mere designation of specified hours creates a chilling effect on the right of free assembly. With respect to signs at the homes of registered sex offenders, we have learned that in some communities law enforcement has posted signs reading “No candy at this residence,” or “No trick, no treat, no candy,” or similar signs indicating that children should not trick or treat at those addresses. These signs violate the privacy rights of family members who have committed no crimes and who are therefore not subject to registration or any other restrictions on their activities. In 2012, a federal court in California blocked a similar sign requirement, ruling that the signs violate the First Amendment right to be free from compelled speech. John Doe #1, et al. v. City of Simi Valley, CV 12-8377 PA (VBKx) (USDC, Central District of California). Finding that “a number of less speech restrictive alternatives exist that serve substantially to further the aims” of the signs – including laws such as Louisiana’s that ban certain sex offenders from participating in trick or treating – the court found that the government failed to meet its burden to show that the sign requirement was “narrowly tailored to achieving [the] compelling interest” of protecting children on Halloween. In short, these signs do not enhance the safety of trick-or-treaters. Those individuals who are prohibited by law from distributing treats can be monitored. Instead, these signs can harm the residents inside those homes, including innocent children and other family members whose safety and privacy must be protected. As elected officials, you have sworn to uphold the laws of the United States and of the State of Louisiana. Those laws include the obligation to respect the right to visit homes and receive guests at the time and for the purpose of an individual's choosing, and to protect individuals from violations of their First Amendment rights of free association and against compelled speech.
We therefore urge you not to enforce any restrictions on the time of the celebration of Halloween, and not to force anyone to post signs at their residences during this holiday. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.Sincerely,
Marjorie R. Esman

Free Again - The Nightmare Continues

Right now I'm at Little Orchard Homeless Shelter and enrolled in The Home First Program to find me permanent housing. This will be my saving grace. I'll finally get off the streets. More later. Just wanted to check in. Take care my friends.

This is Surreal
I can not believe this. I am forced to be homeless and live like an animal. How can The State do this? They say I do not even deserve a home to live in. Try living on the street for awhile. It is an absolute nightmare. I was falsely accused of rape almost 30 years ago and I am still paying the price. Everyday is a chore. Simple things like going to the bathroom is a headache. I do not know how much more of this I can take. Wish me luck.

CA's Realignment Initiative is NOT Working
The California Realignment Initiative of our prisons is NOT working. Yes, the prison system has gone down, but It has transferred over crowding to the local Co. Jail systems. Read all about it at: http://jessicaslawnightmare.blogspot.com/2014/07/consequences-of-cas-realignment.html

"It's Brutal Out Here"
Still staying at City Team Ministry's Homeless Shelter. Was talking to a friend of mine who is in the same boat as me. Forced to wear a GPS Tracking Shackle and forced to be homeless due to Jessica's Law. I asked him how it was going and he said, "It's brutal out here". He is not kidding. This is hell! I feel like a Leper. I am banned from going into a park, school, swimming pool, or "anywhere" children gather ( which is everywhere ). I have NEVER harmed a kid in my life! Also The State considers me and all other "290's" to be animals, not even deserving a home to live in because of the insane residential restrictions. To top it all off I am forced to have a GPS Shackle locked onto my ankle. Yes, " It's Brutal Out Here ". I hope to get into Community Solutions soon and get off the street.

The James D. Anderson Story
I'm still staying in a shelter and it is a nightmare. At least I don't have to live on the streets like an animal which The State of California would have me do. Below is a link to a "Sexual Predator Raid" I went through about 2 years ago. Also some of my earlier writings. Take care my friends. Good to be back in The Fight !!!

The Jessica's Law Nightmare in California
I started The Jessica's Law Nightmare in California back in 2010 when I was released from a CA prison where I served a 3 year term for refusing to register as a sex offender. I was captured in Salem, Oregon where I hid out for a couple years. The Jessica's Law Nightmare in California blog has a ton of good information. You can access It at http://jessicaslawnightmare.blogspot.com/ .

A Motion for Innocence
A Motion for Innocence http://amotionforinnocence.wordpress.com/ is an excellent blog by Shaun Webb I highly recommend to all who want to fight The Sex Crime Witch Hunt.
Community Solutions
Currently I am staying at the homeless shelter City Team Ministry here in San Jose. They give you 7 nights free and then charge you $5 a night after that. I hope to get into a program called Community Solutions that helps guys like me whom are forced to be homeless by The State. Their program is for homeless people who have addictions to drugs or alcohol who also have mental health issues. I am on anti-depressants due to this nightmare The State is forcing me to endure. Check out Community Solutions at http://www.communitysolutions.org/ .
CA to Purge S.O. Regisry
CA is finally going to do something about how many Californians are on this state's sex offender registry by taking thousands off the registry who shouldn't by on It in the first place. Currently about 100,000 thousand Californians are on It. Freed Once Again
Just got out on another parole violation. This nightmare never ends. Stayed at City Team Homeless Shelter last night. I have family I can live with here in Santa Clara Co. ! What possible good can it be to force me to be homeless. My parole was extended by 4 months, so now I have 6 more months until I can leave this state and go back to Alaska.

Out of Jail Again.
Well, I have just gotten out of jail again on another parole violation. The nightmare never ends. At least my parole is up in a little over 5 months. Do not know if I will sleep in my sister's car tonight, go to City Team Shelter, or sleep on the street like an animal. Will have to check with my new P.O. Actually he is a decent guy. He doesn't like Jessica's Law either, but has to do he's job. When will these residential restrictions be removed? Everyone is in agreement that It's a bunch of crap. More later once I get a little bit more settled. I'll keep you all posted. Take car my friends.

Falling on the Deaf Ear
Back in 1995 I wrote a book about my wrongful conviction and the whole Sex Crime Witch Hunt called - Falling on the Deaf Ear: False Accusations of Rape, Child Abuse Hoaxes, Innocent in Prison, and How to End The Sex Crime Witch Hunt. You can access It at : http://fathersmanifesto.net/falling.htm
Little Orchard and City Team
Stayed at "Little Orchard" shelter last night. It's really not too bad. A couple crazies were ranting and raving, but hey, It's a homeless shelter not The Hilton. Little Orchard is one of only two shelters in the entire Santa Clara Co. that allows S.O.'s (290's) to spend the night. The other one is City Team Ministries. Going down there today to check It out. I hear the food is really good.

Forced Homeless in San Jose
This blog is going to chronicle my day to day struggles to complete parole under Jessica's Law in San Jose, California. This insane "law" forces me to live on the streets like an animal due to It's residential restrictions that state that I can not live 2,000 feet from "where children gather". That makes the whole Santa Clara Co. pretty much off-limits. I have never harmed a child in my life! 30 years ago I was falsely accused of rape by a serial false accuser who made her accusation against me for a one million dollar lawsuit. I was not the first man this nutcase had sent to prison. Not only am I not allowed to have a roof over my head, I am also forced to where a GPS Tracking Shackle locked on my ankle. Over 10,000 "Sex Offenders" on parole in California fall victim to this unjust "law". Jessica's Law must be exposed and amended.
